Congratulations to Estefani Falcon, December's Employee of the Month! She was nominated by 11 of her colleagues. Falcon supports her students with a positive attitude and a calm and inviting demeanor. She's created a powerful classroom community that's appealing to all who enter.

Falcon also invests in staff throughout the building. She greets everyone with a smile and models student-centered, positive relationships. She is always ready to support her peers and encourages others as they develop their skills.

Congratulations to December's STAR Student! This student has made remarkable progress since he started at John Powers summer. He now wears his hearing aids daily and uses sign language and his AAC device. He lights up the room when he's able to communicate. Keep up the good work!
