Community Alternatives Unlimited (CAU)

Helps families complete the application for PUNS (Prioritization for Urgency of Need for Services),  a statewide database that records information about individuals who have developmental disabilities who are potentially in need of services.  Provides families with assistance in locating and applying for funding services both at home and out of home.

The Home Services Program (HSP) provides services to individuals with severe disabilities so they can remain in their homes and be as independent as possible. Self-referral for Home Services Program

SEDOL Foundation
The SEDOL Foundation was created to help fill the expanding gap between available tax dollars, children’s and family needs and emerging technology and other enabling resources that can improve and extend the lives of those with special needs. Contact your Social Worker for more information.

ABLE Account
Able Account - Illinois State Treasurer
ABLE accounts make it possible for people with disabilities and their families to save and invest for expenses related to living with a disability without losing, or losing access to, federal means-tested benefits such as SSI, SSDI and Medicaid.  Earnings and withdrawals are tax-free if they are spent on a broad range of qualified disability expenses including housing, health and wellness, education and training, therapy, basic living expenses and more.
